We received information from a well-known law firm concerning an individual making harassing phone calls. The recorded phone calls that the agency received only provided a first name and what every investigator doesn’t like to hear, a “pre-paid telephone number.”
Having the area code to the number, I was able to determine the geographical area where the caller was calling from. After several exhausting hours and frustration using the resources provided I was unable to pin down the caller's current location. However, I remembered the fusion center discussing a new product called FirstTwo.
After submitting the information that I had and the telephone number that was used, not only did FirstTwo provide the exact number sequence of the first seven numbers, it gave an exact location of where he last resided. With this information in hand, investigators made contact with a family member at the residence and located the caller.
